Robert E. Lee Walters, Jr.
April 17, 1956 - May 1, 2025

Robert E. Lee Walters, Jr., 69, of Elizabethtown, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 1, 2025, after a year-long battle with multiple myeloma. Born on April 17, 1956, he was the son of the late Robert E. L. Walters, Sr. and Jacqueline (McNew) Walters. Robert was the loving husband of Jennifer Lynn (Angeloff) Walters, with whom he would have celebrated 26 years of marriage this coming November.
A 1974 graduate of Oxford Area High School, Robert dedicated much of his professional life to sales, working as a sales manager at Herrs for over 20 years and later at Dieffenbach’s for another decade. He was a proud Marine, serving his country with dignity and honor. A devoted Baptist, Robert lived his faith with humility and sincerity. He was a proud member of Local 98 where he worked as a stage hand and a longtime contributor to the Elizabethtown Boys Club, where he coached baseball and softball and served as football commissioner.
Robert had many passions, including fishing, hunting, and American history. He was a proud Civil War enthusiast and a loyal and lifelong Philadelphia sports fan, where he cheered for his teams through every win and loss with unwavering pride.
He brought joy and laughter wherever he went, even during the toughest moments. His strong spirit and ability to keep others smiling remained constant, even as he bravely faced cancer with unmatched strength and resilience. Robert will be remembered for his strong faith, generous heart, love for family, and deep involvement in the lives of those around him.
In addition to his wife Jennifer, he leaves behind his 2 sons, Robert Walters, III, and Joseph Underdonk; his 5 daughters, Jacqueline “Renee” Croman (Andrew), Corrin Walters, Sandra Maxwell (Sean), Morgan Walters, and Mackenzee Walters (fiancé Spencer Lauver); his 3 grandchildren, Naomi, Noah, and Cameron; his 2 brothers, Estace Walters (Karen), and Eric Walters (Gil); and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Donald, Mark, and David Walters; and a sister, Sandy Sellers.
Services will be Sunday, May 18, 2025, 2PM with Military Honors at 478 South Geyers Church Road, Middletown, PA 17022.
